1-8 June | Kathmandu, Bagmati Province – A total of 12 research studies from Nepal (3), Ghana (2), and Sierra Leone (7), were assessed through the Structured Operational Research Training Initiative (SORT IT)-Module-III for their impact on policy and/or practice on strengthening health systems to address Antimicrobial Resistance and emerging infections, where 30 health workers were trained from the three countries in a workshop hosted in Nepal. Following this module, the researchers transformed their research findings into a manuscript ready to be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal. SORT IT, a global partnership coordinated by TDR (the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases), is implemented with partners that facilitates and supports efforts to combat diseases of poverty.
